My eyes water as this sand storm begins.
My grasp at reality slowly slips away.
And my hands they tremble.
And my breath seems to pray.
My mind is a race of dreams.
and of mares in the night.
What do I see?
But you and the light.
What is the forest?
Where are the trees?
How could someone so small be so powerful to me.
Where did it say that normal was good?
I am so glad that you understood.
I am the forest
I am the tree.
You are good fertilizer
keep the soil rich for me.
You bring me nourishment.
And I provide your leaves.
Covering you gently.
safe from the cold breeze's chafing.
And in the night sky you,
the obscure brightness,
that holds me and hugs me all through the night.
Wonder and
merriment and
subtleness for you and for me
And my dreams of you my mare. Are all happy an full of life.
